Blackstrap Molasses Tonic

If you can handle the taste, this tonic will help you in a number of ways. It helps with weight loss, hot flashes, sore muscles, low energy, better digestion, and more. Here’s the story on how I discovered it. Around 2006, I met a 90 year old woman that told me about a time ,back in the 70’s, when she suffered with painful arthritis in her hands. She visited several doctors seeking help for her condition in which none was able to help except one.

This particular doctor recommended that she try a natural remedy for her arthritis. The doctor, she said, told her to take one tablespoon of blackstrap molasses and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar twice a day. She said. ” When I took the apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses, my arthritis went away.”

She then took a tablespoon, opened her bottle of blackstrap molasses, poured it into the spoon and gave it to me.  She said, “Take this and it will help burn that fat from your belly.” I took it and later that day went to my local health food store to get a bottle of each for myself.

After taking the the remedy for a few days, I could tell the difference that it made. I felt more energetic, and I did lose a few pounds over time. My wife also took it daily and her hot flashes went away.

I did not like taking it straight from the bottle like the woman did, so I started mixing it with warm water. The taste, however, was very unpleasant, so I added honey to make it more tolerable. If you would like to give this home remedy a try, you can tke it straight from the bottle. Take one tablespoon of blackstrap molasses and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar twice each day.

If want to take the route that I used and mix it in water, here is my twist.

Add the following ingredients together:

Mix the ingredients together and sip away. Take it twice daily and be sure to drink plenty of water. Keep in mind this remedy is not a cure for any disease and I’m not a doctor so, please use at your own discretion.
